Having a strong offensive line can be the difference between winning and losing in the NFL.

Right now, football betting on the Seahawks’ NFL odds, in which gauging their offensive line will be a factor, is available at the BetMGM online sportsbook.

Below, I’ll look back at the Seahawks’ history and rank their top seven offensive linemen they’ve ever had.

Seattle Seahawks’ All-Time Greatest Offensive Linemen

1. Walter Jones

The Seahawks selected Jones with the sixth overall pick in the 1997 NFL Draft. He played his entire career for the Seahawks, which spanned from 1997 to 2008.

He was a four-time first-team All-Pro, two-time second-team All-Pro, and went to nine Pro Bowls.

Today, his No. 71 is retired, he’s in the Seahawks’ Ring of Honour, and Jones is enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

2. Steve Hutchinson

The Seahawks drafted Hutchinson in the first round of the 2001 NFL Draft. He was there through 2005.

While with the Seahawks before moving on to play with the Minnesota Vikings and Tennessee Titans, he was a two-time first-team All-Pro, a second-team All-Pro, and went to three Pro Bowls.

Like Jones, Hutchinson is also enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

3. Max Unger

Unger played for the Seahawks from 2009 to 2014 after being selected No. 49 overall in the 2009 NFL Draft.

Unger was the center on the victorious Super Bowl 48 roster, was a first-team All-Pro, and went to two Pro Bowls with the Seahawks.

4. Russell Okung

Okung was another offensive lineman the Seahawks took in the first round. He went No. 6 overall in the 2010 NFL Draft.

He was there from 2010 to 2015.

Okung was a member of the offensive line in Super Bowl 48. He also went to the Pro Bowl in 2012.

Okung dealt with numerous injuries across his career (2010-2020), but some of his best seasons came with the Seahawks, including 2014, when he allowed just one sack across 482 snaps.

5. Chris Gray

Gray played interior offensive line for the Seahawks in the latter portion of his career, from 1998 to 2007. He was drafted in 1993.

While he didn’t win any awards, he holds the Seahawks’ franchise record for consecutive starts with 121.

6. Bryan Millard

A member of the Seahawks’ 35th anniversary squad, Millard played for the Seahawks his entire NFL career from 1984 to 1992.

He was a key piece for the Seahawks’ success in the 1980s, as they posted winning records in 1986, 1987, 1988, and 1990.

Fun fact: Former Seahawks quarterback Dave Krieg gave him the nickname “Mudbone.”

And here’s another fun fact: In 1997, NFL.com had a poll that named Millard the best offensive lineman in Seahawks history.

7. Kevin Mawae

Mawae was selected by the Seahawks at No. 36 overall in the 1994 NFL Draft. He played in the NFL from 1994 to 2009, but was only with the Seahawks through 1997.

While with the Seahawks, he didn’t earn any honours or awards like he did in later years, but he was instrumental in helping guys like running back Chris Warren have numerous Pro Bowl seasons. By 1995, he started all 16 games at right guard.

Mawae is enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, but he went in as a New York Jet, the team he signed with after his stint with the Seahawks.
