1. Shaun Alexander
Alexander played for the Seahawks for almost his entire career from 2000 to 2007. He retired after one season with Washington in 2008.
During that time, he ran 2,176 times for 9,429 yards and 100 touchdowns.
He caught 214 passes for 1,511 yards and 12 touchdowns.
He leads all Seahawks running backs in rush attempts, yards, touchdowns, and yards per game.
Alexander was the 2005 NFL MVP and Offensive Player of the Year. He recorded 370 carries for 1,880 yards and 27 touchdowns that season. He led the league in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns.
He was a first-team All-Pro twice (2004 and 2005).
2. Marshawn Lynch
Lynch played for Seattle from 2010 to 2019. He was a member of the Super Bowl 48 squad, recording a rushing touchdown in that game.
He was a first-team All-Pro, second-team All-Pro, and went to five Pro Bowls.
Additionally, he led the NFL in rushing in 2013 and 2014.
Over his career with Seattle, he played in 83 games. He ran 1,469 times for 6,381 yards and 58 touchdowns. He also caught 158 passes for 1,309 yards and eight touchdowns.
His 6,381 yards are fourth among all Seahawks running backs. All players ahead of him played in at least 10 more games.
His 58 touchdowns rank second.
3. Chris Warren
Warren played in 123 games across eight seasons for the Seahawks from 1990 to 1997.
He ran 1,559 times for 6,706 yards and 44 touchdowns.
He was a two-time second-team All-Pro and three-time Pro Bowler.
His 6,706 yards rank second, and his touchdowns rank fourth.
4. Curt Warner
Warner was the Seahawks running back from 1983 to 1989.
He was a three-time second-team All-Pro and went to three Pro Bowls.
He ran 1,649 times for 6,705 yards and 55 touchdowns across 93 games.
Warner is third in yards and rushing touchdowns.
5. Ricky Watters
Watters played for the Seahawks from 1998 to 2001. He was named to the Seahawks’ 35th Anniversary team.
Watters ran 994 times for 4,009 yards and 22 touchdowns while with the Seahawks.
He ranks inside the top 10 in rush attempts, rushing yards, and rushing touchdowns in Seahawks history.
He averaged 75.6 yards per game, which ranks third.
6. Chris Carson
Carson dealt with numerous injuries throughout his career from 2017 to 2021, but when he was healthy, he was fantastic.
Carson never played a full season, but over 49 games, Carson ran 769 times for 3,502 yards and 24 touchdowns.
Carson’s 24 touchdowns are sixth in Seahawks history. He’s also fifth in yards per game at 71.5.
7. Sherman Smith
Smith played for the Seahawks from 1976 to 1982. He ran 810 times for 3,429 yards and 28 touchdowns.
His 28 touchdowns are the fifth-most among Seahawks running backs.
He also ranks inside the top nine in rush attempts and rushing yards.
