  • Hank Aaron has hit the most home runs among right fielders.
  • Aaron led the majors in home runs in 1957.
  • Six right fielders have hit over 500 home runs.

Right field has traditionally been a power-hitting position. Many of the best sluggers in MLB history have spent the majority of their time playing right field.

Players who can play decent defence in right field and hit 30+ home runs per year are often listed among the MVP favourites in MLB betting odds.

Which Right Fielder Has the Most Home Runs in MLB History?

Hank Aaron has the most home runs by a right fielder in MLB history with 755. Aaron had the most home runs of any player in MLB history until his record was broken by Barry Bonds on Aug. 7, 2007.

Hammerin’ Hank won the World Series in 1957, but his teams weren’t always among the favourites to win the Fall Classic in the baseball betting markets. Aaron only had three postseason appearances in his 21-year career – he finished with a career postseason OPS of 1.500.

His record in the regular season is remarkable. Aaron was a 25-time All-Star. He also led the majors in home runs and won the MVP in 1957.
