Littlefield was traded eight times in a nine-year MLB career. Posting an 86 ERA+, 1953 and 1955 were the only years between 1950 and 1958 that Littlefield wasn’t traded.
Chuck McElroy, Cameron Maybin, and Roy Villone were each traded seven times. Maybin, a World Series winner with the Houston Astros, was traded by the Detroit Tigers for Miguel Cabrera and the San Diego Padres for Craig Kimbrel.
Across a 15-year MLB career, Villone played for 12 different MLB teams. Edwin Jackson, Rich Hill, Roosevelt Davis, and Octavio Dotel are the only players who have played for more teams.
