Blue Jays Injury Updates

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was placed on the seven-day concussion list after a collision with George Lombard Jr. He needs to pass all of the concussion tests before he can return. 

Lenyn Sosa resumed his rehab assignment on Aug. 13. 

Spencer Arrighetti has Morton’s neuroma in his right foot. On Aug. 16, he pitched 3.2 innings in Triple-A as part of a rehab assignment. 

Luis Urías suffered a strained quad in a loss to the Chicago Cubs on Aug. 6. On Aug. 11, he was shut down for a fortnight. 

Jonatan Clase is on the injured list with plantar fasciitis. There’s no timetable for his return. 

Jameson Taillon was placed on the injured list with forearm discomfort. There’s no timetable for his return. 

Patrick Corbin was moved to the 60-day injured list with a teres major strain. 

Yimi García was removed from his rehab assignment due to neck pain. He has thoracic outlet syndrome. He probably won’t pitch in 2026.

Trey Yesavage had surgery on a meniscus injury. He’s likely out for the year. 

Joe Mantiply underwent surgery for a knee injury. He has no timetable for return and has been placed on the 60-day injured list. 

Anthony Santander had surgery on a torn labrum in February. He began hitting off a tee in mid-August. 

Cody Ponce sprained his ACL early in the season. He’s out for the year. 

Addison Barger underwent elbow surgery. He will miss the remainder of the season. 

José Berríos had elbow surgery. He is out for the rest of the year. 

Bowden Francis had Tommy John surgery in February. He will not return until 2027.
