5 Best Active Canadian Golfers on the PGA Tour, Ranked

It’s rare that Canadian golfers are priced among the golf betting favourites at the BetMGM online sportsbook, but there’s still plenty of talent out there. 

Top Canadian Golfers on the PGA Tour Right Now

1. Corey Conners

A two-time winner on the PGA Tour and with six top-10 major finishes to his name, Corey Conners has been the best Canadian golfer for several years.

Conners is highly accurate off the tee and has a knack for making inch-perfect approach shots. He’s represented the international team in the Presidents Cup on two occasions and has two top-three finishes at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. 

2. Nick Taylor

Nick Taylor has five PGA Tour wins, three of which came through a playoff, but he’s not been able to replicate that success on the major stage. Taylor has never finished in the top 20 at a major and has missed the cut in more than half of his appearances.

Despite being one of the shorter drivers on the tour, Taylor has consistently been competitive throughout his career. He’s excellent around the greens and notably finished tied for ninth at the Cadillac Championship in May 2026. 

3. Taylor Pendrith

Taylor Pendrith’s lone PGA Tour win came at the Byron Nelson in 2024. A strong end to 2023 led to 2024 being the best year of Pendrith’s career, with 12 other top-20 finishes.

In 2025, Pendrith had his career-best finish at a major when he tied for fifth at the PGA Championship. It’s been hit and miss at the other majors – his only other notable placing being 16th at the U.S. Open in 2024. 

4. Sudarshan Yellamaraju 

A breakout performer in 2026, Sudarshan Yellamaraju made the cut in five of his first six PGA Tour events. His next two events were where he really made a name for himself by tying for fifth at The Players Championship and finishing tied for sixth in the Houston Open.

Placing eighth at the Canadian Open was another high point of Yellamaraju’s rookie year on the PGA Tour. He will climb this list quickly if he can begin to deliver in majors after missing the cut at his first two appearances.

5. Mackenzie Hughes

Mackenzie Hughes is a long way from the player who reached 39th in the world rankings and finished tied for sixth at The Open. Hughes didn’t qualify for a major in 2026 and has three top 10 finishes in his last 20 events at the time of writing.

Good play on and around the greens is Hughes’ main strength at this point. He could become a more consistent contender on the PGA Tour if he improves his play off the tee and on approach.
