In one instance, The Raptor wore a wig mocking Robin Lopez’s unique hairstyle, prompting Lopez to shove the mascot to the ground while the Raptors were taking on the Portland Trail Blazers on March 15, 2015. This came over a year after Lopez called The Raptor the most annoying mascot in the NBA.
The Raptor didn’t stop there, as he created a poster called “My Favourite Lopez List” with names such as Jennifer Lopez, Mario Lopez, George Lopez, and Nancy Lopez on it.
Robin Lopez, then a member of the New York Knicks, took exception and cracked the poster on The Raptor’s head on Nov. 10, 2015.
RoLo and The Raptor renewed their rivalry three years later when his Chicago Bulls visited Toronto on Dec. 30.

Toronto’s mascot also upset Devin Booker in a matchup against the Phoenix Suns on Jan. 11, 2022, distracting Booker at the free-throw line in a Scotiabank Arena filled with no fans due to COVID-19 restrictions. The refs proceeded to send The Raptor to the corner.
